CII event accreditation

Accreditation is a recognised industry quality kite mark for learning events ensuring that these are delivered to the highest possible standards and deliver tangible benefits to help members meet their professional development needs.

CPD event accreditation facilitates a best practice approach to local event delivery, this in turn:

Ensures clarity around the content and learning objectives of your events
Enables members to make informed decisions about the training they undertake
Provides evidence of your institute’s ability to deliver high quality training enhancing your institute’s reputation.

After each CPD event you should issue a feedback form at the end of each event and if you wish a certificate of attendance. These can be created via the Template Tool which is accessible through the TOOLS tab once you log in through the My LI tab.

In following these standards and policies your institute will ensure that:

Members can easily identify the potential value and relevance of the event.
The training is delivered to the highest possible standards.
The event provides tangible benefits to members, supporting their professional development and satisfying their CPD requirements.
Your events can be branded and marketed as CII CPD compliant.

You must renew your accreditation status each year; it is a simple process that will now be part of your annual returns. You simply need to provide evidence around two of your physical events, this includes:

Speaker PowerPoint slides.
Feedback relating to CPD event.

Your Regional Membership Manager will be happy to advise and talk you through the process.

As part of this process you will need to include a number of policies on your local institute's website.

Draft copies can be downloaded below, these should be collated and uploaded onto the policies section of your website.
