The CII and PFS, locally and nationally, is served incredibly well by its members –individuals who play their part as volunteers and give up their time be it at a local institute/PFS region or national level to help deliver such a valuable and extensive range of services to members.
Each year the CII recognises the commitment and achievements of deserving individuals in the form of awards at the annual Network Conference. And now it is time for you to think about who should be nominated for 2017. Remember the CII is reliant on you for nominations.
There are three types of award:
Distinguished Service Award – this award recognises an individual’s outstanding dedication and significant contribution to their local institute in areas such as training, development,the enhancement of professionalism and overall commitment to their local institute.
Exceptional Service Award – this award goes beyond the requirements of a Distinguished Service Award and recognises those who have become champions for their local institute and are great advocates for the CII/PFS and the insurance and financial services sector in general.
The Bridgewater Award – this is our highest award and is a combination of the Distinguished and Exceptional Awards including recognition for an outstanding contribution to the CII Group nationally and locally and where the recipient is recognised as a strong leader of the profession.
These awards are available to all CII members who have demonstrated a commitment to the CII, or PFS, at a local, regional or national level.
All nominations need to be submitted using the nomination form along with a covering letter and any supporting evidence (see examples here) you can provide. Guidance notes for nominations are also available.
The closing date for initial applications will be Friday 28 October 2016.
Please note this is a new time frame to previous years in order to allow the network more time for preparing nominations for submissions.
Please ensure that you provide as much information as possible in support of your nomination as the Awards Panel relies solely on the information provided – you really do need to tell us how deserving your nominee is – so don’t hold back!
