This year's Education Secretaries Conference took place on 25 September at the CII office in Aldermanbury, London. A record turnout of 50 delegates representing 44 institutes attended the event.
A full programme gave institute representatives updates on all key areas relating to examinations and education, including recent and future planned developments in CII qualifications, exams and learning whilst providing delegates with an opportunity to share experiences and insights from across the institute network and allowing them to raise any questions with the CII.
One of the highlight's of the day was the breakout session, which saw representatives from two institutes share their experiences in a) attracting and managing invigilators and b) applying for accreditation and implementing the standards. Both presentations provided the opportunity for attendees to gain new ideas and raise any issues or challenges they may have.
The AMM team has captured details of the comments and queries made during the day and will circulate these by the end of October. In the meantime, a copy of the presentations can be found below for your information.
