With most institute AGMs having taken place, it is important for outgoing officers to ensure that the following equality and diversity (E&D) responsibilities are properly handed over to ensure that your local institute is adhering to the CII’s E&D policies.
- Do your new officers have contact details for their network Diversity Champion?
- Do your new officers know how to conduct and action Equality Impact Assessments (EIAs)?
- Have your new Education Secretaries received the Reasonable Adjustments guidance and do they know how to action other adjustment requests from exam candidates with protected characteristics?
