The final quarter of 2013 saw local institutes finalise and submit their assessments, following seven months of close collaboration between institutes, GWP members and AMMs.
The aims of the project – to develop a consistent member offering across the network, build local communities and ultimately future proof the network – have been well received and embraced by institutes.
Institutes are to be commended on their open and transparent approach to the review and their obvious commitment to making this a success.
The completed assessments are currently being collated by the AMM team in conjunction with the GWP and a progress report, detailing feedback obtained as well as suggestions on revised criteria, will be published in March. A new finance model linking local institute performance to CII funding will be agreed with the GWP in the first quarter of 2014 and submitted to the CII Board in March 2014 for agreement.
This will be followed by a further update, to include full scoring and ranking of institutes, during quarter two and further project updates in the summer.
Further updates will be provided via Network News as the project progresses.
