Local institute development plans

Over the coming weeks your dedicated area marketing manager will be contacting your Deputy President to agree a convenient time to discuss your local institute development plan for 2016/17.

Development plans are created annually by each local institute, supported by the area marketing team.

The key purpose of these plans is to help incoming presidents plan the year ahead, ensuring that their institute delivers the services required by its members such as CPD provision, networking/social events and exam centres, as well as ensuring the effective running of the institute itself.

The plans also support and underpin local institute's development, providing a useful barometer in terms of progress towards the criteria measured in the annual assessment; which in turn is linked to your institute's annual funding.
