Local institute working parties

Interviews are currently being conducted for two new working parties that are being established to enhance local institute practices.

The Local Institute Assessment and Funding Panel (LIAFP) will review and make recommendations for the transparent distribution of CII allocated local institute funding in relation to ordinary grants, special grants and local institute reserves. It will also assume responsibility for reviewing and making recommendations with regard to the local institute assessment criteria.

The Local Institute Finance Working Party (LIFWP) will provide feedback and guidance on the development of local institute accounting practices and protocols. This will include the development of a local institute accounting tool; guidance on centralised annual audit processes, and support on proposed annual financial reporting.

Initial meetings for both working parties will take place later this year and we will update you of how both parties are moving forward in future editions of Network News.
