Working parties update

You may recall me contacting you at the end of 2015, advising that the CII was seeking local institute council members to sit on two new working parties being established to enhance local institute practices.

These are the Funding and Assessment Panel which replaces the Grants Working Party and is concerned with institute annual funding and assessment, and the Finance Working Party, which will assist the CII in enhancing accounting practices and protocols.

A Chair for each of the working parties has now been selected. Clair Brand (Vice President) will chair the Funding and Assessment Panel with Helen Ahluwalia (Vice President) chairing the Finance Working Party.

The CII has received 28 applications for the Funding and Assessment Panel and 13 applications for the Finance Working Party; the regional membership team are now working with the two nominated chairs on the selection of each working parties committee members; ensuring a good mix of institute size and geographical spread is achieved.

Details will be communicated shortly.
