We are pleased to confirm that the CII’s commitment to evolve its role and purpose through the introduction of a Strategic Manifesto has introduced a number of positive changes during the course of the past year with many already taking place throughout the organisation. A key objective of this change programme is to become a more modern, diverse and relevant professional body to better meet the needs of members and deliver against the core purpose of our Royal Charter, raising public trust.
In light of this, we feel it is important that the CII Service Awards should continue to recognise the key role that the local institutes play in serving the ongoing CPD needs and engagement of members from a regional perspective. In line with our commitment to evolve, the CII will look to enhance the awards in the future by including new categories to ensure that the wider membership is also recognised and the awards process is fully integrated to cover the overall engagement strategy. This will be a subject for input at the next Network Conference.
The CII Service Awards are now open for entries for the Distinguished Service Award, Exceptional Service Award, and Bridgewater Award. The closing date for nominations is 26 January 2018.
