Some local institutes have historically maintained member data lists of their own, which they use to send communications to members.
Please ensure your local institute only uses the data lists provided by the CII, which are those automatically uploaded to your e-flyer tool and your membership lists contained within Network Know-how.
While members are affiliated to their local institute, their data protection permissions are agreed with the CII, therefore non-CII maintained lists are not compliant.
If a formal complaint is raised against the local institute, its officers could be held personally responsible and be faced with a substantial fine.
If you do have additional data lists, please cease using them with immediate effect.
