Ordinary grant – second tranche payment

The regional membership team are currently working with the CII’s finance department collating the second tranche of the 2017 ordinary grant payments.

The balance of each institute’s ordinary grant will be paid once all local institute financial returns have been received – five local institutes are still to submit their full financial returns.

As you are aware the fixed payment of 12 percent of members' subscription fees, has been replaced with a performance-related payment based on the annual assessment completed by each institute.

Where an institute’s reserves exceed its annual operating costs (as stated in its latest annual return), an adjustment is to be made to the second instalment of the ordinary grant.
