School and university engagement – tell us what you have done!

Over the years, we know local institute committee members have been doing sterling work, taking time out of their working day to attend a university or school careers fair, delivering student presentations or helping at a discover risk or discover fortune session.

George and Vivine who take on the education relationship and development role for the CII have had the pleasure of meeting many of you already at events and hearing of the truly outstanding outreach activities going on.

While all this great work has been taking place, too often, the CII has not captured some of the excellent things being done by some of our passionate and enthusiastic local institute council members. As a result, we would like to introduce a bi-annual engagement survey to capture what local institutes have been doing in the past six months with local schools, colleges and universities.

Can you please discuss at council and please fill out the survey here once you have established the activities carried out your local institute over the period July 2018 – December 2018.

Please could fill out this survey before the end of January 2019.

By doing this, we would love to identify some examples of best practice to be able call upon some local institutes to share what has worked well in their region to help other local institutes to engage more effectively with education establishments in their local area.
