Today the FCA has published its discussion paper: “Transforming culture in financial services – driving purposeful cultures”.
The CII led the contribution from the general insurance sector, working with a fantastic group of professionals from across personal and commercial lines insurers, brokers, the London market and the wider general insurance community. We also worked on a joint essay with our Chartered Body Alliance colleagues at CISI and CBI.
The FCA recognises that rules alone are never enough. This discussion paper gives us the chance to gain recognition for the things we do well, and to enlist the FCA’s support in areas where market forces alone are not enough to secure the right outcomes for consumers.
