Last year’s Insurance Charities Awareness Week was their biggest yet, reaching almost 76,000 insurance employees across the UK and Ireland thanks to their fantastic network of supporters: including the local institute network.
COVID19 has shown us how unforeseen events can have a huge impact on lives including jobs and finances. Their help may now be needed more than ever in the coming weeks and months.
If your employer has participated before you’ll know that as part of the campaign we send out free giveaways to colleagues throughout the UK and Ireland and encourage offices to take part by running their own activities such as bake sales, dress-down days and quizzes.
Due to the current situation many of us have moved to working remotely in order to protect ourselves and those around us. We therefore have decided that this year we’ll need to change the format slightly to accommodate this change in circumstances.
We will now be delivering an Awareness Day on Wednesday 24 June. As always, we’ll be providing resources such as copy for internal communications channels and digital resources for you to share on the day to help us create a real buzz on our social channels and throughout the industry.
Please could we ask that you share the details of the revised campaign with your HR and CSR teams and those looking after internal communications within the organisation.
We hope you’ll participate again this year and encourage others to get involved too. By helping to raise awareness we can ensure no-one in need of help misses out.
