Urgent Help Requested: Computers For Schools

Throughout the pandemic the education of all children has been disrupted in this country but the less advantaged are suffering more acutely than others because of a lack of access to laptops and technology.

At the moment, this means little or no education at all. Many of these young people are in their GCSE or A level years and the impact on their long-term future could be considerable.

The CII along with the wider insurance market has been asked to help by donating either technology – new or used – or cash. With cash donated being used to purchase reconditioned technology.

How does it work?

If you have equipment to donate:

1. Please check the minimum specifications here.
2. Please ensure your old equipment is data-wiped.
3. Deliver your equipment to Computers4Schools, c/o Lloyd's, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA
4. Schools require Windows laptops or tablets, Google Chromebooks and Apple iPads that meet the minimum specifications.
