Why not apply for a role on the CII’s Independent Review Pool (IRP)?
The Independent Review Pool (IRP) carries out a review and tribunal service for the disciplinary and eligibility functions of the CII and shall be independent of the CII. It consists of (i) CII members, (ii) lay members (those who are separate from the insurance and financial planning professions), and (iii) legally qualified members. The IRP may carry out other review services for the CII as required by the Professional Standards Committee (PSC). The IRP is supported by the CII’s Professional Standards Team.
The IRP is now looking for CII members, lay members and legally qualified members to join the Pool.
The CII believes that Board and Committee members should come from all walks of life, reflecting society, to help them understand people's needs and make better decisions. Therefore, we encourage a wide and diverse range of individuals to apply for this position.
This role is voluntary and therefore is not remunerated, however all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. The duration of appointment for this position shall be for a term of up to three years, which may be extended for one further three-year term.
