CII Engagement Board Member Recruitment 2023
The CII is pleased to invite applications from members for the following Engagement Board Member positions to ensure that the voice of the member is heard during Board discussions and decision-making.
The vacancies are for the following sectors:
Engagement Board Member: International
Inviting applications from members who have experience in our international markets and ideally although not essentially, our affiliated markets. We particularly welcome applications from those based in non-UK countries, although it is experience rather than location that will determine success for all applicants.
Engagement Board Member: London Market and Global Specialty
Inviting applications from members who have either UK and/or International experience of the range of general and specialist (re) insurances needed to protect today’s business community. From members who have a good understanding of the London Market/Global Specialty, from (Re) Insurers, Brokers, Advisors and MGAs (Managing General Agents) as all are vital in providing the range of products and services needed to protect businesses in the modern world.
The Engagement Board member roles are open to all members who can demonstrate that they have recent and an active member engagement experience. For example, attending regional events, actively participating with their local institutes or regions and attending webinars.
Engagement Board Members make a strategic contribution to the Board, having oversight of the CII business plan and strategic direction of the CII, interpreting complex data with an inquisitive and articulate questioning technique to support robust decision making in the Boardroom.
