CII Group Board action
The CII Group Board announced its intention to appoint a majority of directors to the PFS Board on 21 December, and the immediate appointment of three new directors, citing serious and significant governance failures.
The announcement initiated a period of PFS member consultation, which – following an agreed extension – came to conclusion on Friday 27 January.
The consultation consisted of a member survey and a series of member webinars. The CII also offered the opportunity for LI volunteers, PFS council members and members of our GI societies to ask questions last week.
Alan Vallance wrote to PFS members on Friday (27/01), once the consultation period had closed, to update them on developments. The PFS Board is due to meet this week (w/c 30/01) to review the consultation findings and to agree a response to the CII Group Board.
