Evolving the Partnership - October Update

The regional membership team continue to work on projects, process and protocol to further move forward the Evolving the Partnership initiative which focuses on the three overarching themes of Volunteer Engagement, LI Visibility and LI Proposition Development.

Local institute Visibility: Website refresh
The regional membership team continue to work closely with our digital agency, Graph, and a group of local institute volunteers to enhance the look and feel of the Local Institute websites. Our aim is to improve the member experience and streamline how members interact with your site. The team aims to roll the refresh out by the end of 2025.

Local Institute Visibility: LI Promotional Campaign
The team have been working with Poulsen Selleck (marketing agency) to create a marketing campaign to promote the benefits of members engaging with their local institute. Volunteer video content was recorded at NC2025 which will be utilised as part of the campaign along with key insurance influencers.

Local Institute Visibility: LI Podcast
The team will be working on the third and final podcast for 2025 over the coming weeks – the podcast interviews three local institute council members on the benefits of the local membership proposition, developing visibility around what our network of 51 institutes offers our members across the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands.

Volunteer Engagement: Digital Town Halls
The team have now sent invites out for the second round of Digital Town Halls for 2025. These key volunteer engagement touch points help develop relationships between the CIIs ELT and our volunteer network – feedback has been consistently positive on these events.

Volunteer Engagement: Data Sharing Agreements and ICO registration
The regional membership team will be ensuring each of the 51 local institutes is signed up to a data sharing agreement and registered with the ICO over the coming months. This piece of work is being done in conjunction with the CIIs Data Governance Manager. A thematic group meeting is being held on Thursday 16th October to discuss the process with key local institute council members.
