Review and Development Plan 2025 + 26 – what’s changed?

The regional membership team contacted each local institute president earlier this year to inform them that the annual review and assessment plan has changed for 2025+26.

What changes have been put in place?

SECTION A: Governance

  • An additional question has been added stating that officer returns must be full complete with every council member’s PIN number and email address.

SECTION B: CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  • An additional question has been added around the promotion of the CIIs professional map locally in any of the following ways: 1. Stand alone event. 2.Promotion of professional map within other CPD events. 3. Promotion of professional map to local businesses and organisations.

SECTION C: ENGAGEMENT

  • Retitled to Member / Non-Member Engagement
  • Question changed from ‘engagement with local businesses’ to ‘meetings held with local businesses’ – with a list provided within the notes section.
  • An additional question has been added around engagement with local schools, colleges and universities.

SECTION D: NEW SECTION – CII ENGAGEMENT

  • Five new questions added to ensure the CII is engaged with each local institute:
  • Q1: Regional membership report discussed at every council meeting
  • Q2: Attendance at both Digital Town Halls.
  • Q3: Attendance at each of the thematic group meetings.
  • Q4: Attendance at annual Network Conference.
  • Q5: Attendance at quarterly regional meetings.

SECTION E: COMMUNICATIONS

  • An additional question has been added around the consistent use of social media platforms to engage with non-members and members.
