The Chartered Insurance Institute has today (15 January 2024) announced that Matthew Hill will be the Group’s new Chief Executive. Mr Hill is currently chief executive of the Legal Services Board, a position he has held since August 2019. His background also includes spells with the General Dental Council and Gambling Commission, following more than twenty years in central government in a range of areas.

The CII Group’s charity, the Education and Training Trust, is transferring its net assets of approximately £2 million to The Worshipful Company of Insurers Charitable Trust, enhancing the resources available to the WCI to support activities within the insurance profession and beyond.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) has announced the 2023/24 cohort of the New Generation talent programme. From over 150 applicants, the final 41 have been selected, and this week met their fellow group members, CII staff and programme mentors for the first time, in an introductory session at the CII Group’s UK office.
